I play mine a lot so I usually keep it on the stand by my amp. I'm leaving for Germany for two weeks as part of my obligation to the USAF and will be keeping it in it's case. Is it best to have it standing up, flat on its back, or on it's side if it's going to be stored in the case?

any input is greatly appreciated.

your pal,

-chris

I went last year and went to Heidelberg, and hung out in K town. K town is pretty crazy. I used the rest of my free time to see Paris and go to a concert in switzerland. This time I am planning on checking out Amsterdam, supposed to be 5 hours away from the base, which is doable.

Two week Reserve annual tour. Usually ends up with me having 3 weekends in country, which is always cool.

You've gotta hit the Czech Republic (particularly Prague) while you're there. We used that village outside Ramstein (begins with a W) as a base of operations and caught one of the tour buses into Prague. Amazing city.

We use to get you reserve/guard guys at my old base, RAF Mildenhall. Always had a great time with them.

Have a blast. Stay safe. Have fun. Oh, and find a really fast car, get out on the autobahn and go nuts brother!

haha, I've always wanted to go. My captain told me not to go bc he said he knew me and I would probably come home with a wife. I am of hispanic (Colombian) background but am attracted to pasty white women. The whiter the better. They all knew prague would mean trouble for me :laugh2:

I did that last time and racked up a few hundred in speeding tickets. I drove back from switzerland to ramstein overnight and sped down what I thought was the autobahn. Apparently there are areas with no speed limits and some areas that DO have speed limits. Nobody pulls you over, there are only red lights that flash at you (I thought those were warnings lol).

I came back and got speeding tickets in the mail in excess of $400 :D

We are stationed at Lakenheath.

I use to run the D.A.R.E. program for Lakenheath and Feltwell. I probably spent more time there than on Mildenhall. Mildenhall kinda sucked but I was grateful we didn't have to deal with the PRP stuff :). I wonder if the Galaxy Club is still open?

I stand my cases up.
have you heard of this being better, or is it just the way you like to do it.

Also, this is probably bad but I don't even know what # air force I am. I think it's 10th.

I didnt know what squadron I was until I started working for them. Im Navy. But hey lay them down. The lower they are to the Earth the least chance of them falling over. If you aren't going to be sleeping on your bed and no one is going to be. Then lay them on your bed. right in the center. Biggest worry is them falling over.
