so I met this girl in line waiting for a show and this loud mouth guy comes out of the bar next to the venue and starts hitting on her relentlessly. despite her telling him directly that she wasn't interested, he persisted.

I had a ticket and they didn't so we got separated going in but when she got into the venue she came and found me and told me the guy bought her a $40 shirt and a drink, again despite her protests. she didnt want the drink so I took it :laugh2:

anyways, we were talking and she was cool but sure enough the guy comes back and wouldn't leave her alone and she was tiny. she couldn't have weighed more than 90lbs so naturally I felt compelled to make sure that the guy didn't start touching her or getting to close. I started talking to the guy and he was getting mad :laugh2: but I distracted him just long enough for her to slip away to the other side of the venue without him noticing.

-----

now here's my disappointment. I went to the bathroom and as I was walking back to my spot she and I saw each other and she told me to stand with her. we were together most of the show and when the show was over she left without saying a word . she literally just walked away once the music stopped. she said earlier that she had a boyfriend (and a kid :Ohno:) and I wasn't expecting to get with her but a simple goodbye would have sufficed. I didn't even get her name. she was cool though.

despite that I got hit on by a few milfs which was pretty cool. one even went so far as to make me touch her boobs :laugh2:

This is really a funny story... The sad part is that I am sure once she is back home she will tell her boyfriend that she met a guy who protected her from a silly bustard but he was trying to flirt too, so she waited till the show is over and then escaped from both.. and her boyfriend would be so proud of his girl :D

However, you did the right thing... and got your reward.. a touch of boobs :thumb:

I didnt hit on her at all. I felt bad for her because the other guy wouldn't lay off and I knew the last thing she wanted was another guy trying to hit on her. otherwise I might have :laugh2:. I dont think she felt that way though. if she did I dont know why she would have told me to stay with her after she got away from the guy.

I've always had a thing for petite women. Thanks a lot, buddy, I just wasted $50 on a t-shirt and drink.:wtf:

It's unfortunate how women are treated. I had a similar experience a few years ago when I saw the Pumpkins. This girl clung to me all night because of the drunk bastard next to her. I finally got fed up and made him fear for his personal safety. I missed my favorite damn song because of that fool.

Anyways, well done for providing her with some feeling of security.

She wanted you to protect her, you did. You're a good man.

If I may share a story.

only once have I intervened in a situation like that...... a bar/club in Saratoga, Ca back in the mid 80s, and me in my mid 20s.
As it happens she was petite as well. Alone she was, and the place was hopping on a Friday night as she waited her turn to order a drink at the bar. I just responded on instinct and walked up to her and leaned in and said loud enough over the music so he could here me, "Did you order for us?" and then positioned myself between her and him as if we were old friends. She smiled and immediately played along and pretended to know me. What a lovely night. Turns out, no BF, but had one infant at home her mother had been watching. I know this, because she showed up at my door, unannounced two days later to introduce me to the baby in her arms... :laugh2: :wow:

You did the right thing. Helping someone out who was vulnerable and needed your assistance. If more people took the time to do stuff like this the world would be a better place.

When a girl tells you she has a boyfriend and a kid, she is telling you not to tell anyone, and the hot, passionate sex she wants from you must be no strings attached. You missed your opportunity and now she thinks you are gay. She went home to boring or Johnny and thought of you when they got busy.

Al Kooper has told this story about a similar incident involving Mike Bloomfield at the Apollo Theater: Bloomfield was with some friends waiting to see a James Brown show when a fellow began hitting on the wife of one of those friends, and Bloomfield got in the guy's face:

Hey, man, cut that out! That is this man's woman, his wife, how dare you be so rude in front of them like that! Go hit on a single woman and get out of here!

The would-be seducer was black, but when Bloomfield told him off he got applauded by the other black patrons waiting in line with him and his party. "He was a bright, brash man who would stand up to anybody if he felt he was right," Kooper said.

That's what I was thinking too. She probably wanted him to continue pursuing her but was just letting him know the truth beforehand.

she was cool though.

Doesn't seem 'cool' to me. She used you for your intrinsic 'white knight nature' in at best a calculated manner, at worse trying to lead you on, to get the service.
