I just got this from Gibson. Sure is pretty, and really expensive. I did a search, I didn't find it posted. It's beautiful.

I got that this morning to. It sure is pretty. I never had a Black Custom, but as far as looks go I think they are sweet!

Finally, a slim neck big tenon BB!
It's the answer to many of my dreams.
It might be time to trade up as they say.

True that. It would make me happy as well. But the thinner neck of the '60 has always been a draw for me.
Even though now I love fat necks, except on Es335s and SGs. I can take a fat or thin LP neck ans long as it has nibs!


I just emailed Matts Music to see if they have any coming in. The locals have stopped carrying Gibson seemingly due to GC showing up and taking the wind out of the Gibson sales. But the Local GC has not even gotten in a Les Paul Axcess. Every time I ask they say maybe they might get one but none are scheduled. So for that and a number of reasons GC is off my list for this Gibson.

What's up with the '55 BB reissues? A quick glance seems like the R7 BBs.

Just the special neck shape I guess.. Available in four versions though.. Buckers or p90s with ABR/Stop, or a just a wraptail.
