I understand epiphone stopped production for a few years. I can only assume they will keep making them as long as they remain profitable. One nice benefit of P90's is you can easily swap out the bar magnets in the pickups to customize your tone. Only takes about ten to fifteen minutes to swap out a pair of magnets and tune the guitar back up to pitch. Spent time today experimenting with several different combinations. Decided on a pair of alnico 3's for the neck. It's hard to beat the stock A5's in the bridge position but I'm working on a combo to see if I can fatten it up a little. Magnets are pretty cheap and you will notice a difference, hours of cheap entertainment for a gear head like me.

I owned one that I sold a while back. Made in China and the craftsmanship or lack there of was a little obvious to me but thats just me. For the price it's a great looking and sounding guitar. I say go for it :thumb:

...and just for info if you are still looking, IMO, something like this (item #120895419375 if link doesn't work) is overpriced at £320 delivered, when you can get the new ones for £349 delivered.

Well the nice man from Fed Ex arrived on Wed, in the end I opted for the Bonamassa GT, very happy with it, the finish is great, more importantly it sounds awesome
