Hello there,

Here I go again... Oups, that's always been sung some years ago...

So, Florian's just begun the top, some kind of "lemon green" color. He's real a nice man!!!

What do you think?:naughty::naughty::naughty:

Thanks!

I've just ordered a Dave Johnson's pickguard and two CrazyParts bone white pup rings. Florian got them and he seems to find the quality rather good.

He also sent me four more pics...

As you can see, I wanted an un-faded back so as to have that beautiful red color...
Enjoy your week end!

I saw your guitar in person today, takeitslow. It looks even better in person than it does in pictures. :thumb:

How lucky you are LouieTM! i wish i could meet Florian someday too. Thanks for letting me know about the beauty of my burst. I owe you :beer:

The guitar's been sanded

And buffed

We had some mail exchanges with Florian today about the aging and weather checking. Don't want to have it heavy reliced, I'd rather have some kind of subtle aging... As I said to him, I trust him on that to make it "real".

In natural light it's less brown than it looks in pictures. The top grain and flame look amazing and the burst pattern is more of a dirty lemon color. The back is a deep red colour and the grain popping out makes it look very authentic. Beautiful guitar, indeed!

looks wonderful so far. I love the rich and unfaded cherry on the back. I wonder what Florian uses to cover the fretboard. Looks like a shrinkwrap or a wax maybe.

Thanks!

So, here we go with another photograph: the guitar's mounted. Guess it's almost finished...

All the best!
