How many of you guys have a beard? Ive had one off and on as long as i was able to grow one (early 20s) The main reason I keep one is I absolutely hate to shave. For me, its such a chore. In the morning id need to, sometimes in the evening as well. I kept my face shaved for about a month at my new job when i started (i work in a deli) so facial hair is not allowed.... unless......... i wear a beard net. Ive been wearing one for about 3 weeks now and just letting it grow. So im thinking ... well, if i have to wear a beard net, why not just let it really grow. Maybe duck dynasty style. (ok... not maybe not THAT long, im not sure the beard net would fit lol.... but im digging the idea of letting it grow out longer than i ever have before.)

i've had a long-ish beard for a long time. have it trimmed every other month.

I don't know if Ive got s beard but I don't shave much. Maybe I'll grow a neck beard.

I got a job once when I had really long hair that would require a hair net or me to get a hair cut. I showed up they didn't have a hair net for me and were upset I hadn't gotten a hair cut.
I asked if all the ladies had short hair. They said no. I said what hair nets do they use? They said ladies don't need hair nets
I said that sounds like discrimination to me, I'll come back once I've got my own hair nets and we can pass them out. They disagreed and I never came back. The guy that vouched for me told me when he started getting flack for it, so I told him to tell them if they did it anymore Id be happy to discuss what had happened with the department of labor. He was promoted soon after

i have the choice of wearing a ball cap or a hair net at my job. i chose the ball cap.

I had a beard or bit of growth 90% of the time until I went grey from age and close shaving my head when the baldness got to much. Luckily I never had to hold the kind of jobs that required perfect grooming and not liking to shave is a part of that decision.

I absolutely could not never ever use a razor. Every time I did, the hairs when they just start coming out again are literally like needles and I would get very bad rashes.
But I just go with an electric to shave for the past 10 years or so because it can't cut as close as a razor so I don't get a rash from it

no facial hair for me. my hair is really long so if I grow facial hair I look like a hobo. once I shave my head I may grow a beard just to see what I look like.

the longest Ive ever let it grow is about three weeks because I ran out of razors. sometimes I leave stubble just out of laziness.

I had a beard on & off for years, It got to a certain length & I found it became irritable when sleeping, the hairs would drive themselves into my face. I persevered & I've had this beard for around 6 years now so I think it's a keeper.
