Hi Stefan5, I'm New to this forum (even if I've been gathering info for years. I've created my account today ). I live in France. Any chance you'd consider selling your N-LP-400 CTM in the near future?
Best

Emmanuel
Hey Emmanuel,
thanks for your interest.
Yeah, I will tell you. One forum member also wants to know.
It´s not for sale at the moment, but I will try to thin the herd these days, maybe I will consider the 400.
I was happy to pay good money for it and had to import it (fees, taxes), so it won´t be cheap. We will see...
Best! Stefan

Hey Stefan, what does "won't be cheap" means?
In France one guy here is selling is N-LP 480 (same with humbuckers) for 2600€. Are you far from this?

Hi Stefan, can you send me pictures of your N-LP-400 CTM? I've sent you a PM with my personal email. Thanks! Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel,
I will answer once more here, cause some members are interested in those guitars.
Further on, we should switch to pm to avoid too much hijaking of the thread... ;-)
This is the guitar. It looks still the same and it got its original SD-PU back:
If I put it for sale, I will of course make actual pics.

It´s not for sale at the moment, but I will tell those who are interested, if that changes.
I´m not sure, if I will ever put it for sale, because 1. it´s a great guitar and 2. there is a good chance, I would never be able to get one back once it´s sold.
And that´s imho the difference to a NLP 380/480 STD. Those you can get every day, the 370/400 CTM maybe once, twice, three times a lifetime.
I was happy to pay 4.000 USD for it. Importing it adds a fourth, maybe even more.
And in contrast to the early days, when they popped up up and then as a bargain, nobody knowed them, I think, that there will be no more bargains on these models.
So I will keep you informed and I wish you good luck on your chase for a Navi Alnico!
Best!
Stefan

That's my old listing. You must have bought it from the gentleman I sold it to. I know that he replaced the bridge pickup with an SD to get it back to original specs.

I'll echo what Stefan said, this is a spectacular guitar and the model is uber rare. I see one come up for sale about once every 5 years, if that. In hindsight, I probably should have just held onto it for it's collectibility. But I'm glad to hear it ended up in the hands of someone who appreciates it.

Hi Emmanuel,
I really don´t know yet. Next step is reducing about 10 guitars (there will be a Honey Ken with unreal repaired headstockbreak and Throbak Peter Green PAFs) and I have those "buddhistic" moments where I think, "get rid of most stuff and just play". When I do that, I would offer the CTM. I will tell you.

Hey Greg,
nice to hear from you!
You must be right, and he truly was a gentleman!
Interesting that you found the neck a fat U, while I would describe it as a 59 profile (maybe played too much baseball bats...) and I have to weigh it, I thought it was lighter than 9,5 pounds.
How is your G7 going? Maybe we keep on our little chat.
Best!
Stefan
