I have had this ibanez les paul for a while and I really like it.
But it has been giving me some problems ever since I jimmy page wired it.
I used cheaper pots and they don't turn all the way down, so I can still hear my playing when the volume is at zero.
The volume doens't even really get very much quieter as I turn it down, it jsut gets muddier and muddier.
I think I need a treble bleed but, I have already tried seymour duncan's suggestion for a treble bleed and that really didn't do anything.
The low down
1. Does anyone know any really good push pull pots?
2. Do I need 500k for all of the pots (volume and tone) or 2 500ks and 2 250ks?
3. What value tone caps to I need? (do you know any really good brands and where to get them?)
4. What treble bleed mod works the best with humbuckers?
Thank you so much
