I like just regular "house blend" or "fast cup" coffee -whatever they've got made usually - or brew it up at home (Kirkland or whatever): black.

I don't generally drink any past say, 1:00PM though. And I only have one or two cups a day during the week, and hardly any on weekends except one they comp us at the coffee roaster we play at Sunday mornings for a couple hours.

When I was working I lived on the stuff.

Has anyone done cold brewed coffee. I haven't done it in years.
You take a pound of coffee and put it in a half gallon jar full of water and leave it in the refrigerator. Leave it for at least a day. To make a cup, mix 1:1 to 1:2 cold coffee and hot water... Makes a very smooth cup o' joe...
Of course filter the cold coffee into your cup...

I've had it in a coffee shop before. It was smooth, I wasn't crazy about it. I think I got too much milk in it though, way watered down. Was like one half... Just wasn't giving me the texture I was looking for, that I've found in other stuff. I'll give it another shot mostly straight at some point though, when I have a few bucks to drop on a cup.
