Thoughts and prayers your way...I understand fearing the worst, but understand it is not a given.
There is alot more left to be reviewed/discovered before taking a doomsday attitude. Best of luck in dealing with it all...I know it can be quite the strain physically and emotionally - but know there a crowd supporting you here on MLPF.
I had another scan and opinion yesterday... The recommendation was to do a scan again in 3 to 6 months time, if those polyps are not getting larger, I shouldn't be worried and hence, I don't need to remove the gallbladder... so now I am having 2 contradicting opinions about the case.. Sh!t !!
I am getting a quick appointment with a third surgeon (hopefully this week) to get a 3rd opinion... more confusion
Got another check today.. a third surgeon.. he was nice enough to describe the whole thing in details.. he said such polyps "now" are nothing but we fear that they "may" develop to something much worse... and there are 2 schools with 2 different opinions.. one school recommends to wait and follow up and as long as the polyp(s) are under 1cm, nothing to be done... the other school is more conservative and recommends to remove the organ once "any" polyp is present... He himself leans to the second school but at the end it is up to me..
Thanks all... i am way more relaxed now as it confirmed that it is not serious at least for now.. still not decided on getting gallbladder removed now of after few months...
Now i may buy this cheapy
