I was out with my mom at Target. We grab a cart and found a womans wallet in it. I looked her up on my smart phone but couldn't find a phone #. I pulled up a map to her house and she was just a few miles away.
We went to her house but no one was home and she left a note telling her we found her wallet.
She finally saw the note this morning, didn't even know it was missing.
Mom is meeting her at Lizard Lick Towing to return it to her.
There was no money, but many credit cards in it,everything returned to her as we found it.

We saw a purse in a busy street a few weeks ago,but couldn't safely get to it to try to return it. Hope whoever got was honest too.:)

Good for you!

Nice to see honesty, integrity and character. Don't see much these days.

Lost my wallet one time when I was teenager back in the late 60's. Whoever found it looked at the address on my drivers license and put it my Dad's mailbox. He found it when he went out to get the mail the next morning. I had 50 bucks in it and it was still there, along with everything else.

I found a wallet on the floor at work a couple months ago, had $150 cash and a few credit cards, I tracked down the dude who lost it, he didnt even know he'd lost it, gave it to him, he was so happy I thought he was gonna try to hug me or something, now everytime I pass him he points at me and shouts out "This guy RULEZ!"

Good for you, integrity is a priceless characteristic to have!

I always return anything I find, if I at all possible. :thumb:

I have NEVER had anything I lost returned to me but that just strengthens my resolve not to be an asshole like the people that keep my stuff.

The reward is in the knowledge that you're the better person right?

However, wait until next month's credit card statements arrive.

Lizard Lick lady to husband: "Bobby Joe, what is a LP59WCJBONAMASSA? What is a guitar center? $4,397.95?! Shit!!!"

Y'all are good citizens. Well done.

I once found the wallet of the dude who lived in the apartment above me. No cash in it, but the guy was a manager at a local Mexican restaurant and gave me probably 20 free margarita coupons. Better than $$$.

I have found and returned many wallets. One time I returned one to a guy, at his house. I knocked on the door, he answered and I said "Here. I found this in the street." He grabbed it out of my hand and shut the door. Didn't say a word. I killed him and ate his liver with some farva beans and a nice chianti.
