Wow, it's funny we are in a shit storm here at work! Non stop! 24x7 shop... I started today with 500 emails, and right now (not including deleted emails) I have 1400...

I got the "Official" call at lunch, and just spent the last 45mins to an hour doing my resignation letter and talking to my boss' and HR. Funny it's really bitter sweet... My boss did say "I wish I had a bunch of money to keep you" .. no raises or bonus' for 3 years, and the fact that I'm 18k under the "average" salary for my job is a huge motivator to leave though ...

Anyways, I had to share! I'm F8kn stoked! FAA here I come! No more 70+ hour work weeks and threats of being replaced by Indians!!

I am also in a very similar situation. No raises in 3 years, though other peers have (money is too tight, yea right). So I have a review in a couple days.

They know I have interviewed at a couple places so we will see what they do.

I can leave now and take this other job that is 3% lower wage, at least they give raises so I might come out ahead sooner.
