Hey guys,

I stopped over in a small music shop today and noticed this Les Paul amongst some LP copies. The owner has it listed as a 2007 standard with a 50s profile neck in tobacco burst but I doubt it, the serial number looks like a 2002? The neck felt like a 60s slim to me, it had a satin finish (rougher than satin) and it was light as hell, about 7.2-7.5 pounds. It also had a 1-piece back.

The serial# indicates 2007. The 1st and 5th digit are the year digits 2-4 is the day and the last three are production#

Looks good though. Good luck

It's a Standard Faded, serial number would not be correct for a Classic.

Yep, it's definitely a 2007....like most said, it's a faded standard. $1,800 is definitely way too much!
