I am looking for a 1983 Les Paul Standard, Custom and suppose I would consider any other 83 Les Paul. If you have one, and want to sell it. Please email jdwright6@gmail.com with Asking Price, Condition, Color and Serial Number. Thanks for all your help tracking one down!

Dont know if your an e-bay fan or not, but they have a few.
One nice 1983 LP Standard, Black, original hardware, nice shape.
It's in Ohio, and has a buy-it-now price of $2,500.00
Couldnt make out the serial # on the back of the headstock
due too the fact it's black. But when they have the buy-it-now,
you had better get it, doesnt take long for people to start bidding,
bidding start's at 2,500 +

But like I said, they had a few other's, 1983 LP Standard in Silverburst,
it was a little dinged up, & an alteration or two on the hardware.
I think he was at $2,690.00 it was out to bid.

Any reason for an '83 in particular, as opposed to say an '82 or an '84?

Just curious.

But if you were born in '83 you would have missed out on seeing the original Star Wars in movie theaters :(

'80s hair may have been bad but I recently watched an episode of VH-1's Classic Albums on 'Hysteria' and I don't care what anyone says that was a GREAT album!

Yeah,

I saw Star Wars in the theater 11 times, no joke. The music was a little to techno with ridiculous overuse of the synthesizer and my favorite, the "keytar". But all in all, there were some great bands that came out of the 80's and that included Def Leppard. I mean, who doesn't love a band with a one armed drummer?
