LP Custom Off Balance

I like to play with my guitar pointed up slightly. I had no problem playing my strat this way, and it stayed up perfectly, however, my new LP Custom I got a few weeks ago is completely off balance. It sits completely horizontal when I have it on a strap, and it makes it really hard to play. I can only play it sitting down.

Are specific guitars ever made in a way that makes them off balance? Or are LPs supposed to be this way?

Um. I can hold both my LP'S at an angle one being a custom I don't know whats wrong with yours may we see pics? The only guitars really built off balance are Sg's

I'll try to get a pic up soon. It's weird. I had a different custom last year, and I don't remember this being a problem. It's really heavy towards the neck, and I have to physically hold it up at an angle, otherwise, it starts tilting to the left. Really annoying
