I have no sympathy for the Canadian guy in that video. You've got to be one hell of a dumbass to give a federal border patrol officer any attitude at all. Obviously that guy did not know the kind of power and authority the agents weild.
His constant arguing and interuptions during the interview, asking them for reasons....what a fool! But he probably didn't learn his lesson.

Just because you have power and authority doesn't mean you have to be an a$$hole.
When someone give a little attitude it doesn't mean you need to go on a power trip.
The guy was a super-cop and I bet his supervisor got knee deep in his $hit after the interview.
The officer should welcome the fact that they wanted to enter to bolster the economy. That's probably the last time he or any of his friends cross for shopping.

Sorry I disagree. The guy perpetuated everything himself. When the officer asked him which stores they were going to he should have just said I don't know....but no, he got cute and asked in a mocking tone "does it matter?" Right then the officer decides "so that's how you wanna play huh?"

One time I was crossing the border with my band in a 5 tonne truck. Our roadie was driving. He was a big guy with culry black hair and a beard. The border officer asked what his citizenship was and he joked "Iranian terrorist" !
They tore our vehicle and gear apart with a fine toothed comb and detained us all day....we missed the gig. You just don't f%ck with those guys.

I personally KNOW someone like that. Fortunately, LAPD didn't want him and neither did TSA. So now he's a "rent a cop".
