Whats the pcb for in those guitars? I have stripped the wiring from one Epiphone to replace with gibson style 50's. No pcb in the epiphone, just a few push fit plastic connectors.

It’s a 2020 Gibson Classic

Lovely stuff, keeping an eye on this thread. The fretboard is so bloody dark, I love it!

Yep it’s a nice one, it has a long red streak weaving it’s way under the E and A strings as well which looks cool
I’ll take a photo of that tomorrow so you can see what I’m talking about

If you're keeping the pickguard get nickel covered humbuckers!

I’ve already got the pickups, they are Duncan Custom Shop Angus Young High Voltage in Aged Chrome, yes chrome
They look great
And I always have the pick guard on my Les Pauls

Very happy with the result
The pickups sound great, slightly brighter than the other PAF style pickups in my other LP’s but that’s how they are designed
The treble bleeds on the Vol pots work a treat, I’ve never had those before and rolling down the vol doesn’t lose any treble which is great
The only other mod I want to do is put a taller pickup surround on the bridge pickup as it sticks out a mile and looks weird
Other than that, I dig my Clapton Lucy inspired Classic LP

Oh, also, if you look closely you can see a red stripe running along the fretboard under the E, A and some of the D strings
It’s quite unique and I love it

It’s cool that you left the truss rod cover with Classic on it, really nice job. Congrats it’s stunning.

I put a set of the Angus’ in my daughter’s SG, along with a Mojotone 50’s wiring set. She loved it. I’m sure you will too!

Very nice indeed, I would love to hear a clip or two with it.
