Hmmmm is this what I am looking for?
Things like that generally sound like shit.Hmmmm is this what I am looking for?
Ok..... what about thisThings like that generally sound like shit.
These work well, and guess what? I have one, used once, brand new in the box other than that, from Sweetwater. $125 shipped PP gift, it's yours. Let me know.Ok..... what about this
Thats what sweetwater recommended
Looked it up... seems it is doable dependant on the individual pedals.Since you all are in the helping mood.... I have a power supply but need one or 2 more 9 volts..... can I daisy chain off of one of them just like a wall wort?
Ok.... I bought a DI box running from the ext speaker to the DI to the board. BUT the tech at the store said I would fry my amp running that way with no speaker resistance.... he said try running from the efx send. That works, but does not bypass the amp speaker plus it does not sound the same....so back to square one.I have gone right from my pedalboard to the mixer many times. Get yourself a DI box and make it the last thing in your chain before the board.
I'm not so sure how that will sound in a solo/duet environment, however. For me, I get mixed in along with the rest of the band (keys, guitar, drums, vox)... so, I can sort of EQ/Mix something halfway decent.
You may want to try one of those things that cjpeck suggested, if you want to try and craft some "tone". Fender makes a Mustang Floor, which is essentially a Mustang III amp. Much more complicated, though. But, you can really get a lot of very nice voicings.
Or, just try a DI... This thing is $100 on amazon and it's one of the better DI boxes out there.

Maybe wrong but i think the efx send is straight from your amps pre amp. So maybe you can turn down the amps master vol to stop the sound from the amp's spkr?????Ok.... Quilters definitely don’t sound like shit for the record.Hmmmm is this what I am looking for?
The Quilter got my attention when I was watching this video last week around the 11 min mark, sounds great!Quilters definitely don’t sound like shit for the record.
I love my little micro block 45. Class D technology. Lots of clean headroom in a very small package. Paid 100$ for my micro block. It has a headphone out that I’ve used as a an out with a 1/8” to xlr cable. The interblock has an actual out I believe.
I did an a/b comparison using the joyo American and the Quilter next to my twin and got it pretty darn close to sounding like a twin.

I think you are correct....but it just does not sound the same to me. Might just be in my head. My buddy is coming over and we are gonna set up full gear and try different variations and see what we can get to sound decent.Maybe wrong but i think the efx send is straight from your amps pre amp. I know that NOW lol....... I assumed I could still get the amp tone. Had no idea I could fry my amp. I am glad I only played a couple songs.A DI box is not designed to be between an external speakr output of an amp and... well, anything. Not sure why you are connecting it that way. For sure, you would fry the transformer inside the DI box with current (speaker output is a high-current source). Plus, you would also probably fry the amp's transformer, too.
I thought you wanted to stop using an amp. If so, go directly from the output of your pedalboard to the DI box, then from the output of the DI box to the mixer.
If you want an amp in the chain, you will need one with a "line out" to use the DI box.
ordered one of these.. @freebyrd 69 offered me on cheap BUT I had to go through sweetwater to use my CC. so it should be here tomorrow and I will report back once I figure out how to hook it all up.Ok..... what about this

My wife has been telling me to buy a new guitar.....
Bothyou play acoustic right?
When I play a show, I switch between a Taylor acoustic and a strat. I have an AB switch at the end of my pedal board to send the signal to my amp or to a DI box then the mixer. I may play a tyler childers song on the acoustic then a SRV ( not well) on the strat. It makes my set up ridiculous for a solo or even the duo. I am just trying to eliminate stuff without sacrificing sound. I can play everything on the strat but then the country ballads dont sound right.....or I can play everything on the taylor but then the srv or skynyrd stuff doesn't sound right. I am about as dumb as hell with gear. I am sure I could find a pedal or a gizmo that I could use and just take one guitar but I haven't found anything that could make my taylor sound like a strat or my strat like my Taylor. For example...... I want something to just boost the strat a bit when I play with the duo. An example, we do keep your hands to yourself and its only rock and roll moshed together. I play the simple lead licks....I have no clue other than maybe blues driver what to use to just give the strat a slight boost and crunch....... I have said from the start of this, aside from my lack of talent, my sound is my weak point. I am clueless and to my wife, EVERYTHING sounds terriffic unless it has the slightest bit of reverb....then to her its awful lol.you play acoustic right?
