That's great! The finish and everything are amazing, and I have a feeling a lot more people will like this then the Black Widow.

As promised here are pics of my new Les Paul Custom Cobra burst LPR57.

This is #18 of 25 made for sam ash.

57 specs with burstbuckers 1 and 2. Perfect match with my black widow.View attachment 53365

Great to see this guitar got a great home! But I work at Alto Music not Sam Ash, so I think it's wasn't a Sam Ash exclusive.

beautiful guitar, I got a couple questions though, no binding on the back? & it looks like single ply binding on the front of the body, am I wrong? & I also read that they were chambered, not trying to bag on your guitar at all I love it & would love to have one, my only point though is that its a lot more like a "classic custom" with an amazing top then a "custom" congrats on the NGD

It is an odd mix of things. Its loosely based on a 57 as its states on the coa lpr57. The neck is a 57, the body is chambered, there is a single ply on the body, but triple ply on the headstock. Has a stinger on the back plus the snake logo. Its not a typical custom, but far from a custom classic. The tone is identical to my 57 gold top reissue.

I am usually pretty traditional as far as collecting historics and non chambered guitars. I resisted getting a chambered guitar for a long time. But after getting the black widow and loving the tone, i felt good about getting another chambered in this cobra burst. I really dont notice a tone difference at all. Just much lighter on the back. Big win!!
