Cat is not only drinking on his own, he's munching a bit here and there.

He is also washing his face and paws. That's a biggie.

If he's into maintaining his own shit, he's on the road to recovery.

Still on close watch. He's around us and in our field of view at all times.

I’ve always been a dog owner but we were gifted a cat when my son moved back in, then back out and the cat stayed. She’s a really cool animal and very affectionate, gets on great with the dogs and hasn’t really ripped up the furniture. But no matter how good she is she becomes Shera of the Jungle when the mood hits and does all the dumb stuff that cats are known for.

He's better every day, so I'd say we are through the worst of it.

In fairness, people are really on edge, depending on how draconian their state/city leadership is.
I'm very happy that I'm not a mod or admin on the local Chino Connects Facebook group. It's REALLY bad... everything from race baiting to talking-point politics to flat out threats to burn businesses who serve customers without masks... and one threat against a local favorite cafe who was serving people outside on their patio.
