Hi fellas. Specially you edwards folks^^

A few days ago I bought an used upgraded Edwards 130 LTS in Lemondrop. :dude: I'd probably prefer the tobacco burst or the JP colour, cause Im not really into lemonbursts, but this one is kinda cool, so its all good hopefully !

So now here are the upgrades :

- WCR Green/Moore pickups
- Alu Faber tailpiece with locking symstem (bridge and tailpiece both relicd.)
- Gibson reflector knobs
- NOS 50s Bumble Bee caps

Including a gator hardshell case. Thats it. All together for ~ 1200 $
Here are some pics, but they dont really show the natural colour.
Pictures by BurnyCustom - Photobucket

Ill take some new shots as soon as I get the guitar.
Unfortunatley I probably wont get it until friday.

Outstanding purchase!

I know where you bought that, and with the ton of upgrades it has, it was a smart purchase indeed. And for an Edwards, it sure has nice inlays, way nicer than mine. ???

Congrats!

I tip my drink to you . . .

Just checked out ebay and some google image searches.

The 130 comes with better inlays. Did not know that till now.

Always a few surprises.

Awesome. I have thought about getting myself a Peter Green/Gary Moore burst like that for ages.
Good price for the lot, especially the WCRs included in it.

I'm gonna keep looking for something with nibs though :D

Yes it was a smart purchase I think : D.
I hope I will still like that burst after a while.

About the inlays..dunno if they are nicer than yours, havent seen them yet. But you got a 92er corrct? Cause I thougth they all got the same inlays (perloid dish).

I've got an old 90LTS, now they call 'em 98's.

Your's look a lot more like Italian celuloid, what was in the org bursts. Mine are kind of milky looking, no real definition.

On the basic LP's, "Edwards" is white on the 85/92SD's. Gold on 90/98LTS's.

Early 90LTS's didn't have pup covers.

Just make's it a E-LP-85SD. Dunno what year. Some of the early 85's had spectacular tops.

See my avatar? Serial # (I guess it's a serial #) unside the neck pup cavity. Start's with 04, guessing - and that's a big guess - mines a 2004.

Wow! Is that trans red?

More than likely a spec order somewhat, if so. Maybe a different model #.

Are the pups stock? All black is not ordinary for Edwards.
