So uh, it’s been a while

I started playing guitar in 2009 and joined this forum in 2010 or so as a teenager, where I would hangout for a few years. Although it’s been about 6 years since I last logged on, I’m now a cranky, 27 year old man who still loves guitar the same as he did on day one.

I would be surprised if anyone remembers me or if I can recognize a few of the folks I interacted with back then, but it’s great to see that this forum is alive and well. I learned a ton from my time here, and I received a ton of great advice, too.

All of that aside, how are you all doing? What’s for dinner tonight?

Hahaha, you and several others were probably too kind to me, but that’s okay. I needed it. I’ve been so lucky to have received mentorship in person and boy have I grown a lot on the instrument. I sing a lot now, too!

As I recall I was definitely among the youngest when I originally joined. I would have been 16 I wanna say. There was a guy named Drew who was a bit younger than myself even. I wonder if he’s still here
