Nope, this is not another which nut to put on thread. I have been reading a lot of the nut threads about players having trouble with strings binding and letting go during bends, tuning etc. I can honestly say I don't have this problem. I read an article years ago where Eddie Van Halen was telling all the little things he did to keep his guitar in tune with all the tremolo he was using. This was before the Floyd Rose. I read where he would wind the strings on the pegs upward so that there was not so much pressure on the nut, so less binding of the string in the nut slot. Yes this puts added tension on the peg but it works. I have been playing for 32 years and every guitar from my first cheapies to Ibanez and finally Gibsons I haven't had any peg problems and I definitely don't have any string binding at the nut. Maybe someone might give it a try.
