So after some time with my LT and a lot of programming I have one question left, maybe you guys can help me

I am using a split performance view with 4 stomps in the upper row and 4 snapshots in the lower row.

I assigned four different colours to the footswitches for my snapshots. The performance view display doesn´t show these colours though. The snapshots are always uncoloured in the performance view, while the rings around the footswitches are coloured.

When I assign colours to the stomps, it changes the colour in the performance view for the stomp box, too. It just doesn´t work with the snapshots.

Is it possible to get my snapshots coloured in the display?

BTW, I love my Helix, best piece of gear I ever bought (Besides my Knaggs Kenai )

Only one question left?

I think that's just the way it is as far as the display coloring. I use 8 snap / 8 stomp via the mode switch & it's the same. Also if you assign a parameter from a given effect to a switch, the display will say something like "mode" not chorus / vibrato. (from Elephant Man Delay). And the ring will either be lit or dim, no color choice there.

Well the color scheme is to support effects types so you can tell at a glance which effect you are engaging/disengaging. With snapshots how would you associate colors in your mind to assign? I think line6 assumes you'd simply rely on the order/sequence to know. I thinkyou can also quickly toggle between performance mode and snapshot so you'd have all 8 switches at your disposal in each. This is frrom watching demos and readings posts etc only, I don't own one these yet!

I am hoping for a Helix small stomp modeler like the Ampli-Fire Firebox. Something for around $3-400 with Snapshots, that can hold IR's, and maybe hold 8 Helix Presets. What a great, lightweight, gig-able product that would be.

I saw that , Di said the GC leak was unintentional but those "unintentional" leaks happen so frequently it makes ya wonder . In any case good on them , seems like the next logical progression for the M family.

I'm leaning towards the explanation that this is an L6 in-joke. Since elements of the user community invariably find something to complain about, whatever L6 does...

Improvements/Changes

• If a Snapshot has been given a custom switch color, that switch ring now displays a dim color when not active
• 12 of Helix’s 17 reverbs originally appeared in M-Class processors and Verbzilla. As such, they’ve been moved into the new “Legacy” subcategory within the Reverb category
• Helix's tempo no longer responds to pressing TAP at tempi lower than 40.0 BPM (Beats Per Minute). This is to ensure that multiple fast tap entries are recognized properly, as previously, they could be seen as one really slow tap entry. You may still manually select a tempo all the way down to 20.0 BPM and your presets can still be saved with tempi down to 20.0 BPM—just touch TAP and turn Knob 6 (BPM)

True. I do all my patches and general fiddling about via the HX Edit software. The hardware interface is great, but sitting in a chair with a mouse and a large screen is greater .
