Tokai LS50 or 60?

Got this a short while ago, and finally got around to setting her up good.

Plays great, sounds great.
Tuners can be improved, but that’s about it.

Every 1985 LS50 I see has open coils, this has covers.
So is it a 60?

That looks like an alder back on that guitar. I'm no tokai expert but that looks like a 1995 korean als42gt to me. The abr bridge posts throws me off though.

Has a 17degree peghead.
Steel studs.
Gibson style truss rod nut.
And the circuit board electronics.

'85 I believe was the year Tokai almost went bankrupt so a lot of weird things were going on. Mish mash guitars. Guitars that didn't match the model number stickers etc.

I dont have any export headstock tokais so I'm unsure where yours was destined to go to and they did often have different specs.

I would also say I've never seen the back grain of a tokai look like that.
