I personally own a Tiny Terror. It sits atop a Peavey Windsor 412 cab. I don't ave any effects, yet. 7watt switch. Gain max, tone at about 9o'clock, and volume at alittle past halfway.

It's small... but if handled properly and skillfully, it will rip the audience's balls off!!

Picked up a TT from Eddie's just last Saturday (thanks, brettK7) and I think it's fantastic. I had been using a MIA Strat and a Blues Jr. with a few effects (Boss CS-3, ProCo Rat, Ross Phaser, Boss DD-3), but I find that I much prefer the tone of my Robot straight into the TT. I may eventually look into a boost---maybe the Tech 21 Boost RVB or DLA---, and I suspect that the Ross Phaser may occasionally see some time in the chain, but in the meanwhile I'm really pleased with my simple set-up. And when I can afford an Orange cab I bet I'll like my rig even more (though I have nothing but good things to say about the old-school Avatar 2x12 I'm using at the moment).

No problem man! It was good meeting you.

I'll never forget when I played two chords on that thing and your eyes lit up and you go "I'LL TAKE IT!" That made my day. I really love Orange amps a lot, so thats awesome that you got into them as well.

I wonder if the guy who bought the other TT will get on MLP. I gave him the URL as well.

Hey Brett,

Just an update, I found a local dealer where I can go to try a Rocker 30 out, also compare some other amps. I will let you know which I choose and order it from you. I'm having trouble getting the money in, no one wants to buy my Epi or my Marshall SS.

I also had another question for you, can the Oranges get the Country Twang out of say a Telecaster? Example - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=al3gwQ0vxVY]YouTube - Brad Paisley-Huckleberry Jam[/ame]

Also I'm checking out Dr. Z's since you carry those as well. What's your opinion on those?

To answer your questions... YES, the Orange can do twangy country type of stuff. The natural channel on the Rocker 30 is awesome, it will do that type of stuff really well I'd imagine.

Dr.Z is a cool brand, they have a lot of awesome stuff. THAT sound is very different from the Orange though... They are more geared towards clean tones (at least the ones that I have played). They are pretty expensive too. For what you want to do, I think the Rocker 30 is one of your best choices.

Thanks Brett; I've been thinking about one of these for a while, and your comments seem to sum up what everyone's been saying. :thumb:

I call it like I see/hear it man. They are great amps.

I am pretty positive, it will be the same results though... GOOD GOOD GOOD :D

I picked up a tiny terror head in a pawn shop in as new condition for about a third of the retail price! I'm playing it through a ! x 12 with an eminence speaker on the 7 watt setting & I am shocked at how LOUD it is.......and this is quality loud, not just noise.

At present I've got Joan Jett Melody Maker with a BB3 in it - thro the TT it GROWLS!! It is just plain rockin' nasty......think Johnny Thunders or Leslie West at his nastiest.

I've also got an old Strat - mid 80's - and it has never sounded better. Just guitar, lead amp, & you get the spanky bridge sound to soulful SRV blues tone! The crazy thing is you just plug in & it sounds great - inspires the shit outta me to sound so good so easily!

I guess I'm saying to people - GO BUY ONE IMMEDIATELY. However good you think they may sound - well thet're better than that. Do I sound impressed or what?
