I don't know if you're looking for feedback and, if so, what kind but here are some comments from a web design perspective...

position:fixed; on backgrounds makes the Baby Jesus cry and web browsers scroll like molasses.

Side menu: Add a little padding to the left of the links, give the a:link a more contrasting color and consider using the same color for a:visited as well. The color business with navigation menus helps keep your site looking tight and professional.

On the contact page, delete "Text imput" from the value unless that's part of the criteria for the project, in which case correct the spelling from "imput" to "input." ;)

Other than those items, even if it's a little dark for my taste it's a cool looking web site. :)

Web developers should not be allowed to have:
- large monitors
- fast Internet connections
- fast computers

lol! I was going to mention something about the overall page width, but it's not bad by today's standards. I generally design using fluid layouts or, if fixed width, so that they're no more than 960px wide. If I were more ambitious, I'd also create a separate style sheet for mobile. I didn't find his site to be overly heavy with files though and we have a throttled down connection of 4mbps at my office.
