I've played them all and the current models all seem to have the fast neck you like.
I'd get the 336/356 over the 339 because they have a great woody tone since the back and sides are made from one solid piece of mahogany. The top is solid as well, not laminated like most the other ES Gibsons.
The smaller 336/356body feels more Les Paulish in stature as well.
Gibson has some great slimish necks, but they do vary even within the guitar style since every guitar is slightly different.
Thanks for the info - I'm really gassing for a vintage 345, or a 335, what are the necks like on these? - newer ones, that is, can't afford vintage
335 of course.
Do all/most 335's have a thin neck - It's 180 miles to the nearest gibby dealerif i want to check them out...
