Jury is still out on that. I have like 12 of the new ones so none of them get played enough to wear the frets down...

(12 ?) I didn’t think they made 12 different models- are they all the same color ?

Ok, so I just have to check it out very carefully when I buy. I plan to get one from GC - and it goes straight to my guitar tech for inspection
( if he doesn’t approve it I will return it)
But another question on new Epi’s
Are the frets any better? I have a 14 that I got used and I am now needing a fret job.
Are the new Epi’s being made with better quality frets?
Frets are showing some signs of slight wear on my Epiphone,59 but I’m a very heavy player 2-4 hours a day 6 hours sat/ sun

So , is this on par with normal wear for an American made guitar? (I play 1- 1.5 hours 4-5 days per week)

I have a question pertaining to color. Some time back, I acquired an Epi Standard Plus Top Pro, '16 vintage. In truth, I bought it because I wanted to add a LP-style guitar to the rack, and this one was gorgeous and in very good condition. Photo below. The question that I pose is whether this is considered "Bourbon Burst" or something else. I've seen photos of other guitars of this model that are called Bourbon Burst but the color is completely different, more yellow fade to brown. This one, as you see, is yellow fading to red and then to black (same as the PRS Tricolor Burst), like an autumn sugar maple leaf in peak splendor. I've also seen this color referred to as Vintage Cherry Burst, which I believe was incorrect. Whatever it's called, it's gorgeous.

I have a question. The title here says ---Reissue Les Paul Standard---, but I don’t remember Reissue 1959 having this color. I am going to buy this 1959 Reissue Les Paul Standard, but this color is very confusing to me. Can anyone help me answer this question?
