Get a used handwired something or an original and modded to tastes

If you get a pcb model you better try it and make sure you love it

i like the JMPs sound the most out of those

the 800 and 900 sound too dark

the DSL sounds a hair nasual

the MG = dew dew

the VM sounds a tiny bit thin without the boost, and a tiny bit too thick with the boost

I really like the JMPS and the JTM-1C a lot too. The valvestate isn't half bad for SS but yeah, what were they thinking when they made the MGs?

Lead 12 sounds good as well.

Seem like Spain based Marshally amps....if the money and shipping is good then yeah they seem great

At this moment, I think that the Bigtone Studio Plex mkii is my first option. Great Plexi sound, FX Loop, 2 channels, 50W, Master Volume for each channel and an awesome sound.

+1 for Ceriatone!
Nik is great to deal with, and the amps are great value for money.

If the classic non-MV Marshall (they're also f***ing loud) isn't for you, maybe you should check out Ceriatone's Overtone or HRM series (Dumble clones). Completely different from a Marshall, but deliver everyting from beautiful cleans to very high gain lead. I built a HRM 50 Watt, end everybody who's played has been extremely impressed - one guy who came to look at another amp I had for sale, desperately wanted to buy it!

Cheers
