They do look kinda hoaky - probably why Sweetwater could never get rid of them. I think they were an exclusive - I can't find that Guitar on Gibsons site.

Epi Budokan, yes.

It's nice. And I hear some of the Epi's were overall a better made guitar.

I bought my 2013 Trad for right at $1700. Granted, that was end of year blow out pricing, but that's when a lot of Gibson's got sold.
