Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe GT - Triplets!!!

I just recieved my third Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe. She's a sweet 1998 Gold Top. Found her in Baltimore and just had to give her a new home.

Here's the body detail:

The truss rod cover differs from the 1999 and 2000 Epi Les Paul Deluxes that I have seen. Here's what I call Type 1 from 1998:

Here's what I call Type 2 fron 1999 and 2000 production Epi Les Paul Deluxes:

Type 2 is just like the covers Gibson used on their Les Paul Delues in the 1970's except that they have three screws.

Any other examples out there?

So I now have triplets! Epi Les Paul Deluxes in Gold, Red, and Blue - with one from each year of production.

Nice guitar! I've got a '56 reissue (heavily modded, you can find it on this thread easily)
These are nice guitars. It's quite a bit lighter then my other Les Pauls. Is that the case with this one as well?

They are lighter than a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. They don't have a maple top.

I had a 73 Gibson LPD in the 70's and it was one heavy guitar.

Mods I plan are Schaller straplocks, push pull phase switch, and maybe a set of Seymour Duncan SM-1 pups.

How much is this guitar worth, I just got the epiphone les paul deluxe gold top, on the back it says limited edition and it is discontinued, how much is this because I cannot find anything about it on the internet.

AFAICR I paid $600 for my Gold Top with a new case. Well worth it.
