The first time I ever remember seeing the term "political correctness" was in an article about Brown. So...there's that.

Sadly, I was sure this was Brown after the first few paragraphs. I say sadly because my eldest is interested. It's in my hometown, and the campus is textbook "New England college" pretty, so she is smitten.

Has a freaking letter from Caltech, not a form letter but an actual letter, written by a human, asking her to apply, from CALTECH. And she's interested in that den of silliness.

"make sure you feel respected."

...well lets see,..he ignores her in public and the only thing he does with/to her is f**k her.

What Do You Think?

jeez people are stupid.

Stupid twat, you're a f**k-toy,..grow some self respect. ...unless you like being a f**k-toy?

Equality! :dude:

...there are going to be some seriously broken people in this country 10-20 years from now. :laugh2:

Lots of damaged goods and emotional cripples.

She is, but its obvious she expects 'more', and is waiting for 'more', and is never going to get it. Also guessing from a few of her comments (aint it odd we know its a she :naughty:), she has little self-esteem and is just happy anyone has sent any attention her way. Damaged, yea a little.

Ah yes the current climate of activism, be it in some obscure bit of a western state or on a college campus.

We are so convinced of the justice of our cause the we are willing to fight for it and put our lives and welfare on the line.

Although when we say "fight" you're not allowed to hit back

In fact, you've got to take steps to make it more convenient for us to fight and ensure the we will not be harmed in any way by our chosen course of action.

Well, actually you have to help us, or just give us what we want.

Otherwise you're oppressing us.

It's still a great school...for the right student. The feeble minded (not a function of letter grades) are at risk to fall prey to this baloney on virtually all US campuses (excluding, for the time being the merchant marine, military, some Christian and a few others (e.g. Hillsdale)). I guess if you are going to some day swim with the sharks, you'll have to learn to deal with all the remoras.

I first learned about this scourge at college (New England "Small Ivy"). It is a debilitating virus that is harmful to the individual, the community and society in general. It is communicable (amongst the feeble minded) and flourishes due to our widely held belief in the freedom of expression (even when one expresses himself as a complete moron). Unfortunately, the only two cures are death and education. Given our love for freedom, the death part has to be left to mother nature (Darwinism). The educating part is difficult in that the lifelong indoctrination of these kids creates a bulwark to real knowledge. Often, it is best to hold one's tongue and hope that they will move to Massachusetts, California or NYC...where no one will notice them.

Been more or less like that for the last 50 years or so.

The cause-of-the-day might change but the rest is the same.

We're over due for a MGTOW thread but this fits here just fine for now.

This is going on all over the world.

I particularly like the part about how Men are supposed to sit like Women with our legs crossed. And that by sitting like a normal man,...like how EVERY MAN SITS,....we're "manspreading" and exploiting our privilege as men.

...lets just ignore the fact that Men and Women have completely different organs which is why Men sit the way they do.

lets just ignore LOGIC.

(there you go. Have fun with the viddy, it actually is pretty good.)

So Ksg, who would you say is responsible for this situation?

The kids are empty vessels for the most part when they enter university. They're either looking to test what their parents taught them, or to get away from the things their parents taught them or they're trying to find themselves. They're highly susceptible to whatever their professors or upper classmen tell them. So, I blame the institutions first...the professors and the administrators and other activists on campus.

Second, I blame the parents for allowing it to continue and thirdly I guess I blame society in general for what we've created.

There's been student activism since nearly forever, but when I was in school in the 1980s, what you did after hours or in between classes wasn't an excuse for failure and I never heard of anybody getting a Dean's letter recommending leniency due to some special snowflake's activism interfering with course work.

I worked full time during ALL of my college experience. I NEVER got any slack from anyone...I was told to grow the f*ck up and deal with it.

when I was growing up it was common for step-dad/uncle/grandpa/...even mom to be like, "if you want to cry about sh*t I'll give you something to cry about."

..kinda put things into perspective,..quickly!

Nowadays that's probably child abuse.

...so I guess I'm glad I was abused? :laugh2: Made me a stronger person

that's funny. The guy saying self pleasure is, "Illegal Pen1s Handling" about made me cough/choke/spray my drink. :laugh2:

was not expecting that. :laugh2:

And ignore, that there are a LOT of women with much larger rear ends than men, and THAT actually takes more space, or that many women put their purses down next to themselves, and that MANY more women purposely take up seats next to them, or that many of those men did NOT have their knees wider than their shoulders, and thus were NOT taking up more space than they needed to at a minimum. Hell, I'm carrying a little extra weight, but take the average woman my height, even in great shape and BEFORE this new big arse beauty ideal, and her sitting width, due to wider hips is bigger than mine. Well, until you factor my shoulder span in as well.

Can't wait till I'm frowned at because, I take an aisle seat, because my shoulders can NOT fit in the seats on a plane.

Just try to make me cross my legs to sit, or move my knees closer on public transit. I f'ing dare them.
