NOGD - 56 LP TV Special

I just recently did a deal on a 56 Les Paul TV Special. I'm really loving this one. Plays and sounds really sweet. Here are a few pictures...

A few months back I acquired a 100% original 56 LP Special, TV yellow of course, and love it!!

Mine has the original frets, and I took it to my Luthier, who is awesome, and he spent days just lightly kissing the frets to level and crown them, and they play as well as you could expect for 50's small frets. Quite good actually.

Yeah it's taken me a long time to discover the greatness of P90's on a slab of mahogany. No going back now. This is the sound I've always had in my head. They are so versatile too. Clean, dirty, bridge, neck, middle...there's such an amazing tonal palette right there.

Enjoy your Special. These really are great guitars. And a bargain compared to the price of a Goldtop
